Tips for making the best iar fried chicken wings.
If you use whole wings you will need to break them up. This recipe is more simple to make when you select chicken wings that have already been broken down into wingettes and drumettes.
More helpful tips for you.
- Use a paper towel or similar item to pat the chicken dry before coating it. Removing the moisture will help the oil and seasoning stick as well as allow the chicken to get crisp/
- Oil is used to coat the skin. I like a flavorful oil such as olive oil but, you can use about any oil that can be used in an air fryer.
- When applying the oil to the wings, you can use the a zip top bag to shake the wings in the oil in or simply use a oil sprayer .
- Leave room in the air fryer for the warm air to circulate around the nuggets. The chicken nuggets should not overlap in the air fryer basket.
- Preheating your air fryer can help the nuggets air fry evenly. You can also rotate them midway through air frying .
- Lastly, you can serve your chicken wings with carrots and celery with a bit of dip on the side just like the restaurants do.
