Tips for making the best steak bites.
Tender cuts of beef work best in this recipe. Ribeye was used for my bites however, tenderloin or sirloin work too.
More helpful tips for you.
- Before cutting and seasoning your meat, use a clean paper towel to pat the steak dry. This will help the other ingredients stick better.
- Marinating your beef in the olive oil and seasonings will make it even more tender and flavorful. I like to place my ingredients in a zip top bag and then refrigerate it overnight for example.
- It is best to slice the bites the same size and shape. This will help them cook evenly.
- When placing the steak bites into your air fryer, place the bites in a single layer and leave room for the warm air to circulate while it cooks. You can make this recipe in batches if needed.
- Take your bites up a notch by adding cajun seasoning.
- Since cooking times can vary depending on your air fryer and how you like your steak, it is best to keep an eye on the bites. Generally, a minimum internal temperature of 145 °F is recommended by the usda.
