    • Italian Dressing. These dry ingredients used to make Italian salad dressing work perfectly in this recipe!
    • Beef Broth. Water can alternatively be used.
    • Pepperoncini Juice . This is the juice that the jarred peppers are packed in.

Tips for making the best Italian Beef.

This is a slow roasted beef recipe that works best when it is allowed to cook slowly.
While it may smell amazing while cooking, it is best to have patience with it.

    More helpful tips for you.

    1. When you place the ingredients into your slow cooker, there is little need to stir them. They will find their way while they slow cook.
    2. Using a slow cooker liner can make for an easier clean up.
    3. Feel free to add additional ingredients such as sliced onions for even more flavor.
    4. Precooking for a few minutes on each side or 'searing' your meat can help lock in natural juices and speed up your cooking time.
    5. The easiest way to shred your meat is to use two forks to pull it apart. If your meat seems to not want to shred, it could be because it is not quite done cooking.
    6. Some folks like to serve Italian beef on a hard bun and then top it with a bit of the the juice used to make the beef in. The bun can soak up the juices to perfection.
