Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion --Chopped into small pieces
  • 1 cup Broccoli. --Cut or broken into florets.
  • 1 cup Green Beans. --Frozen.
  • ½ cup Peas. --Frozen as well.
  • 1 Carrot --Cut into small pieces.
  • 3 cups Rice. --Your rice should be cooked and cooled and any lumps should be broken up.
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce.
  • ½ tablespoon Sesame Oil.
  • 2 Eggs. Use large eggs that are beaten.
  • 2 cups Turkey. Use cooked turkey that has the skin removed and is cut into bite-sized cubes.

Instructions

  • Heat In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat your oil for one minute. Then add the chopped onion and saute until translucent (about three to four minutes).
  • Vegetables Add the broccoli florets, green beans, peas and carrots to the skillet and continue to saute until the vegetables have thawed (about three to four minutes).
  • Rice. Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet leaving an empty space. Add rice to the empty space then stir the soy sauce and sesame oil into the rice until the rice is coated .
  • Eggs. Push all of the ingredients to the sides of the skillet making an empty space. Crack the eggs into the empty space and scramble the eggs until set.
  • Turkey Stir in the turkey and continue to stir fry the ingredients until cooked through.
  • Serve Serve your fried rice as is or with sesame seeds, green onions, chili flakes and additional sauce as desired.
