Optional Toppings Such as Butter, Sour Cream, Shredded Cheese, Bacon Bits, Chili, and Chopped Green Onion.
Instructions
Prepare your potato. Clean your potato to remove any dirt and remove any objects that may be attached to it. Also, use a clean kitchen towel or paper towel to pat the potato dry. Then use a fork to poke at least five holes into the potato for the steam to escape.
Season. Use a pastry brush or similar item to brush the oil over the potato(es). Then sprinkle the salt over the potato so that the skin is coated.
Air Fry. Place your potato(es) into your air fryer basket, leaving room between potatoes for air to circulate. Air fry 400F for 20 minutes. Then flip the potatoes and cook them for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork tender.
Serve. Use a tong or similar item to carefully remove the potatoes from your air fryer. Let the potatoes cool a bit before slicing them lengthwise. You can pinch the sliced ends to open up the potatoes.
Top. Add any optional ingredients as a topping and enjoy your potatoes!
