Ingredients

For the biscuits.

  • 2 cups Flour.
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Soda.
  • teaspoon Garlic Powder.
  • ½ cup Butter. - Your butter should be cold and cut into cubes.
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley.
  • 1 cup Buttermilk.

For the topping.

  • 3 tablespoon Butter. -melted.
  • ½ tablespoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, use a whisk to combine together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and garlic (and optional salt).
  • Add the butter cubes to the bowl and beat the ingredients until a crumbly mixture forms. You can do this by hand using a pastry cutter as well.
  • Outfit your mixer with a paddle attachment and then beat in the buttermilk until just combined. Then use a rubber spatula to fold in the grated cheese and the parsley.
  • Remove the basket from your air fryer and spray with oil or use the prep method of your choice. Then preheat the air fryer to 380.
  • Use a large cookie scoop (or ice cream scoop for large biscuits) to scoop out the dough and then place the scoops into your air fryer, leaving space between the biscuits for the warm air to circulate. You can brush butter over the biscuits or spray them with oil or butter at this time as well.
  • Air fry the biscuits for six to eight minutes or until golden brown.
  • While your biscuits are airfrying you can whisk together the topping ingredients.
  • Carefully remove baked the biscuits from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Then use a pastry brush to brush them with the topping (melted butter, parsley, and garlic).
