Optional Spices- nutmeg ginger, or apple pie spice. -Up to a teaspoon should work.
Instructions
Make yourself a workstation with two shallow bowls. In the first bowl, place your melted butter. For the second bowl, place your brown sugar and spices.
You can pull the basket out and spray with oil or airfryer safe nonstick if desired.
Use a fork to dip the first apple slice into the melted butter. Fully coat the apple slice and then tap off the excess butter into bowl.
Next, place the butter-coated slice into the brown sugar mixture. You can use a spoon to help coat the apple slice. Then tap the excess sugar mixture off back into the bowl. To give your apples a second coating you can toss them in remaining ingredients (image #2)
Place the coated apple slice into the basket and repeat the process until all of the slices of apples have been coated. (image #3)
Air fry your apples at 350 degrees for four minutes.
Toss the apples and then air fry for another four to six minutes or until they are tender and golden brown.
Let the warm apple cool down a bit before serving as they will be very warm.
