Air Fryer Homemade Pizza Pockets

Ingredients

  • 2 Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough - or similar dough
  • 1 cup Cheese - like mozzarella, grated
  • ½ cup Pizza Sauce
  • Toppings - such as mini pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoon Butter - melted
  • Seasonings as Desired

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350. Also, place the liner in the basket.Lightly flour a clean work surface and carefully unroll your crescent or similar dough onto the surface .
  • Use a knife or pizza wheel cutter to cut the rolled out dough into four equal sized rectangles. Then place the rectangles so that a shorter side is facing you.
  • Next, in a large bowl, combine together your filling ingredients (cheese, sauce, toppings..).
    Use a quarter cup scoop or similar item to scoop out the filling ingredients and place them in the center of the bottom half of each of the rectangles .
  • Fold the triangle over and press the open edges in place. You can then use a fork to crimp the edges together.Then use a pastry brush to brush on the melted butter.
  • Place the pockets onto the basket liner, leaving room between each of the pockets.Air fry for 7-10 minutes or until lightly browned, flipping halfway through air frying.Let the cooked pockets cool a bit before enjoying.
