Marinate. Place your chicken into a large bowl, baking dish, or large zip top bag. In a medium bowl, use a whisk to combine together the Lemon juice, Lemon Zest, Parsley, Garlic, Salt, Pepper, and Thyme. Pour half of the mixture over the chicken, toss the chicken, and then pour the remaining marinade on the chicken and toss again. Cover and refrigerate the chicken for as little as 30 minutes to overnight.
Prepare. When you are ready to make your chicken, preheat the air fryer to 350f. You can give your basket a quick spray with oil.
Chicken. Take the chicken out of the marinade and dispose of the marinade. Place the chicken into your air fryer, leaving space between the chicken for the air to circulate.
Air Fry. Air fry the chicken for 16-18 minutes, flipping the chicken after eight minutes.
Serve. Allow the drumsticks to cool for a few minutes and serve.
