Ingredients

  • 2 Refrigerated Biscuit Dough - buttermilk biscuit dough was used to make my muffins.
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Butter
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar - packed

Instructions

  • Remove the biscuits from the cans, separate them, and then cut each biscuit into quarters. Also, prep your silicone muffin liners with a bit of nonstick spray for an easy clean up
  • Combine together the granulated sugar with the ground cinnamon in a large zip top bag. Place a quarter of the biscuit pieces into the bag (if you are using a can with 10 biscuits, that will be 10 pieces per can).
  • Seal the bag and then toss the ingredients together. Remove the pieces from the bag and then place the coated biscuit pieces on to the prepared liners to form muffins. You can gently press the pieces in place to help them stick together.
  • When all of the pieces of biscuit dough that can fit on to your liners have been coated and placed into the liners, you can place the filled liners into the air fryer basket.
  • Use a fork or a whisk to combine together the melted butter with the brown sugar. Then drizzle the butter and brown sugar mixture over the muffins, reserving half of the melted butter mixture for use after air frying.
  • Allow the muffins to sit for three minutes so that the mixture can seep into the muffins. Meanwhile, you can preheat your air fryer to 350.
  • Air fry the muffins for 10 minutes or until the tops are crispy on the outside and the center appears to be fully baked.
  • Allow the air fried muffins to cool for before removing them from the liners. Drizzle the remaining brown sugar and butter mixture over the muffins before serving.
