Prep. Preheat your air fryer to 325 and gather your ingredients together. You can place an air fryer liner in your air fryer as well.
Cream . Beat together your softened butter with your sugars (white and light brown) until creamy. Then stir in your egg and vanilla extract.
Dry Ingredients. In a clean bowl, use a whisk to combine together the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and cinnamon.
Combine. Gradually add the dry ingredients from the second bowl to the mixing bowl and mix until just combined. Do not over-mix.
Topping. In a shallow bowl, use a whisk to combine together the topping ingredients (granulated sugar and ground cinnamon).
Scoop. Use a medium cookie scoop to scoop out the dough and roll the dough into a ball. Lastly, roll the dough through the topping ingredients until coated.
Air Fry. Place the cookie dough balls in your air fryer basket about an inch and a half to two inches apart. Then air fryer for seven minutes or until the edges are set and the center is soft. Then place the cookies on a cooling rack or plate to finish cooling.
