Ingredients

  • 2 cans Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls -- Such as Pillsbury Grands
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • ¼ cup Brewed Coffee.
  • ½ cup Butter.
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar.
  • 2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon.

Optional- chopped pecans or walnuts, a teaspoon of vanilla extract, or chopped bacon for an added wow!

Instructions

  • Prepare. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Also, lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Rolls. Carefully remove the cinnamon rolls from the container and place them side by side in the prepared dish. The rolls should be in one layer and with tee sides touching one another.
  • Cream & Coffee In a medium bowl or large measuring cup, use a whisk to combine together the heavy cream and brewed coffee. Then pour this mixture over the rolls so that each of the rolls is covered as well as the bottom of the baking dish. The optional vanilla extract can be added in this step as well.
  • Topping. Melt your butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. You can add any chopped nuts at this point too. Once the ingredients are combined you can carefully use a large spoon to spoon this mixture over the rolls.
  • Bake. Lightly cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake the casserole for 30 minutes and then carefully remove the foil and bake for an additional five to 10 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and baked through.
  • Icing. While your casserole is baking you can prepare the icing. Simply take the icing packets that came with the rolls and blend them in a medium bowl with about a tablespoon of the brewed coffee until smooth.
  • Frost & Serve Once the cinnamon rolls are out of the oven, evenly spread the coffee-infused icing over the warm rolls. Serve immediately and enjoy!
