Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef --Already cooked and browned.
  • 2 tablespoon Taco Seasoning
  • 1⅓ cups Salsa. --A thicker salsa works best.
  • 8 oz Crescent Rolls --Use the prepackaged refrigerated rolls.
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese --Shredded.

Instructions

  • Prepare. Preheat your oven to 375f. Also, prep your baking dish for nonstick. Nonstick spray can work in this recipe.
  • Ground Beef. If your ground beef has not been cooked, you will need to do so. Combine together the cooked browned beef with the taco seasoning and salsa and cook over medium heat for three minutes stirring often.
  • Crescent Rolls Carefully remove the crescent rolls from the packaging and unroll them into the prepared baking dish evenly spreading them out so that they cover the bottom of the dish. Be sure to pinch the seams together.
  • Layer. Evenly spread the ground beef over the crescent roll layer and then top that with the cheese.
  • Bake. Bake the casserole for 18-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the crescent rolls are golden brown
  • Set. Let the taco bake set for a few minutes before slicing and serving with your favorite taco seasonings.
