Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground Beef. -- cooked and drained.
  • 1 Onion --diced.
  • 3 Bell Peppers --diced into small pieces.
  • 3 cloves Garlic -- minced.
  • 28 oz Crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz Tomato sauce
  • 6 oz Tomato paste
  • 1 cup Broth. - Such as Beef broth
  • tablespoon Chili Seasoning - or as desired

Instructions

  • Prepare Prepare your ingredients as indicated. This includes browning your ground beef and dicing your peppers and onion.
  • Layer. Place your browned ground beef into your slow cooker. Then layer the onion, peppers, and garlic on top.
  • Sauce. In a mixing bowl, use a wooden spoon or similar item to stir together the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, broth, and seasonings. Pour this mixture over the ingredients in your slow cooker and mix until combined.
  • Slow Cook. Cover your slow cooker and cook on high for four to six hours or low for six to eight hours (low is preferred for optimal flavor!).
  • Serve. Serve your chili with cilantro, shredded cheese, sour cream, or as desired.
