Prepare your kale as indicated above. Wash, dry, and tear it into bite sized pieces. Place the kale pieces into a large bowl.
Add half of the oil (one tablespoon) and toss the kale. Then add the remaining oil and message the oil into the kale leaves.
Next, add half of the seasonings to the bowl with the kale, toss, and repeat with the remaining seasonings. You can adjust the seasonings if needed at this point.
Transfer the kale to your air fryer so that it is in a single layer (edges can overlap).
Air fry at 350 for five minutes. Shake or flip the kale carefully. Continue to air fry until the kale appears crisp (another three to four minutes).
Transfer the kale to a large bowl or baking sheet to cool before serving.
