2teaspoonSeasonings. --Such as garlic powder, onion, powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
1½cupsCheddar Cheese --shredded.
16ozRefrigerated Biscuit Dough. --separated and then cut into pieces
Instructions
Prepare. Gather your ingredients as indicated. Prep your baking/casserole dish well for nonstick. Also, preheat your oven to 375.
Biscuit Layer. Evenly spread the biscuit pieces into the bottom of your baking dish so that the entire bottom is covered with biscuits (you can press them into place to cover small holes).
Sausage and Cheese. Evenly spread your sausage over the layer of biscuit pieces. Then cover the sausage with your shredded cheese.
Wet Ingredients. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and seasonings until well combined. Then pour this mixture over the cheese layer so that it is evenly spread out over the cheese.
Bake. Place your breakfast casserole into your oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top of your casserole starts to turn golden brown and the center is set (not jiggling).
Set. Let the casserole sit at room temperature to set before slicing it into servings.
