Potatoes. Prepare your potatoes as indicated and then place them into your pressure cooker. Pour your broth over the potatoes and then set the valve to sealing and program the electric pressure cooker to “manual” or “pressure cook” for five minutes.
Release. Once your cooking cycle has completed you can perform a quick release. However, do not drain the potatoes.
Mash. Carefully mash your potatoes using a potato masher or potato ricer.
Remaining. While your mashed potatoes are still warm, stir in your butter. Once the butter has fully melted you can add the garlic and seasonings followed by your milk (or cream).
