Equipment

Ingredients

For serving:

  • 1 tbp Sesame Seeds
  • 2 Green Onions --chopped

Instructions

  • Prepare. Start by preparing your ingredients as indicated. This includes blanching your broccoli. Also, make your sauce by using a whisk to combine together the soy sauce, brown sugar, spices, and sesame oil.
  • Beef. Cook your ground beef in your skillet over medium high heat until browned and cooked through, breaking it up as it cooks. Then drain any excess liquid (fat) from the skillet.
  • Sauce. Add your sauce to the skillet along with the onion. Cook the ingredients, stirring as needed, until the onion is soft (about two to three minutes).
  • Broccoli. Turn your heat down to medium and then add the broccoli. Saute the ingredients until the broccoli is heated through (about three minutes).
  • Serve. Serve your beef and broccoli with optional sesame seeds and green onions.
