Slow Cooker Chicken and Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken Breasts. -Boneless skinless, chicken breasts.
  • 2 cups Broccoli. -Florets.
  • 8 oz Pasta. -Such as penne or rotini pasta uncooked.
  • 10.5 oz Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese --Freshly grated
  • ½ cup Mozzarella Cheese --Shredded cheese.
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Chicken. Use a clean paper towel to pat your chicken dry and remove anything that is on them that does not need to be. Place the chicken into the bottom of your slow cooker, not overlapping if possible.
  • Combine. In a mixing bowl, use a whisk to combine together your soups (creamy and broth) and seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper). Then pour this mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker so that the chicken is fully coated.
  • Slow Cook 1. Cover your slow cooker and slow cook for three hours or until the chicken is fully cooked and is tender.
  • Shred. Use two forks to shred the chicken. Then add the broccoli and the pasta to the slow cooker and stir the ingredients.
  • Slow Cook 2. Cover the slow cooker and slow cook for an additional 30 minutes or until the broccoli is tender and the pasta is cooked through, stirring once or twice while slow cooking.
  • Cheese. Lastly, stir in the cheese until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.
