Prepare your crock pot or slow cooker for nonstick.
Start by placing the chicken on the bottom of the pot. For the layers, over the chicken with the cheese, then the broth followed by the cheese, broth, melted butter, garlic, and then the seasoning.
Cover the crock pot or slow cooker with the lid. Set it to cook on low heat for 4 to 6 hours, or until the chicken is no longer pink on the inside, cooked through and tender. (Cooking times may vary depending on your crock pot, so check for doneness at around 4 hours.)
Once your chicken has fully cooked thorough you can shred it. Carefully, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the crock pot or slow cooker. Alternatively, you can dice the chicken. Stir the chicken in the sauce that is in the pot and then stir in your cooked pasta.
Allow the pasta to soak up the sauce for an additional 15-20 minutes on the "warm" setting if available, stirring occasionally to ensure it's evenly coated.
