Tips for making the best pizza rolls.
Pizza rolls should be placed in a single layer in the air fryer with plenty of space between them so that they can evenly cook through. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to make this recipe in batches.
More helpful tips for you.
- If you are making the homemade dough, if your dough seems to be too sticky to work with you can sprinkle additional flour on the dough.
- When you roll the dough, do so tightly to ensure the pizza rolls hold their shape during air frying. Start at one end and roll the dough slowly, applying even pressure. A tight roll also helps to keep the filling from spilling out.
- Air fryer models vary, so it is best to keep an eye on your rolls as they cook. You can start checking on your pizza rolls at the six minute mark to prevent overcooking them. If the rolls do not seem to be browning evenly, you might need to adjust the time or temperature slightly.
How to store pizza rolls.
Once your rolls have fully cooled they can be stored in an airtight container. When properly stored, pizza rolls should keep for up to four days when refrigerated.
