- Eggs. The eggs are whipped and then used to bind the dry ingredients to the chips.

Tips for making the best Zucchini Chips.
When selecting your zucchinis to use in this recipe, select fresh and firm zucchinis. While you do not need to remove the skin, it is a good idea to wash and then dry your zucchini first.
More helpful tips for you.
- Since the zucchini slices need to be as thin as possible, it is a good idea to use a mandoline to slice them. A mandoline slicer can slice for consistent thickness - about ⅛ inch thick slices.
- This recipe uses a dredging station to coat the chips with the other ingredients. I find that using shallow bowls make it easier to dredge.
- After slicing your zucchini, place them on a small stack of paper towels or clean kitchen towel with a bit of salt sprinkled on top. Doing this for 15-20 minutes can help take out some of the extra moisture that is in the zucchini.
- Almond flour was used to make my zucchini chips. Feel free to use regular all purpose flour if you prefer to.
- When placing your sliced zucchini into the air fryer, leave plenty of room between each of the chips for the air to circulate. If they overlap, they may not crispin evenly.
- Because zucchini naturally contains a lot water, it is best to eat the chips as soon as possible as the chips with get less crispy with time.
How to make Air Fryer Zucchini Chips
Prep Time: 10 minutes .
Air Fry Time: 8 minutes .

- Prepare the zucchini. Carefully slice the zucchini as indicated if you have not done so. If your slices seem very watery then you can place them on a stack of paper towels or a clean kitchen towel for about fifteen minutes to dry out a bit. Image 2.
- Dredging Station. To make your dredging station, you will need two shallow bowls. In the first bowl, use a whisk to whip your eggs. For the second bowl, us a clean whisk or a fork to combine together the almond flour, parmesan cheese, and seasonings. Image 3.
- Prepare your air fryer. You can take the basket out of the air fryer and spray it with oil or nonstick. Then preheat your air fryer to 400.
- Dredge. Use a fork to dip the first sliced zucchini piece into the egg bowl (gently tap off the excess) image 4 and then dip the chip into the flour mixture image 5 (tap off the excess). Then place the chip into the basket of your air fryer. Repeat this process until you can fill the basket without overcrowding the chips image 6.
- Air Fry. You can lightly spray oil on to the zucchini slices to help them get more crisp. Then Air fry for eight minutes, stopping to flip the chips at four minutes or until crisp.
- Allow the chips to cool for a minute or two before serving as they will be warm
Expert Tip 👉 Keep an eye on your chips after six minutes as air fryers can vary. Depending on the size of your air fryer, this recipe may need to be made in batches.
How to store homemade Zucchini Chips
These zucchini chips should be stored in an airtight container or zip top and refrigerated. You can simply warm them up in the air fryer to enjoy within a few days.
