Ingredients needed to make pizza in a Crock Pot.
- Pizza Crust Dough. Use the refrigerated variety such as Pillsbury Pizza crust dough.
- Pizza Sauce. Store-bought or homemade can be used.
- Cheese. Parmesan cheese was used to make my pizza. Other cheeses that can be used include mozzarella, provolone, or blend. Note that parmesan cheese is more dense than shredded or grated mozzarella or provolone. This means that you may need more of the cheese when measuring it out.
- Butter. The butter should be melted as it will be used to brush on to the dough to help make it moist and add flavor.
- Topping(s). Chopped basil was used on my pizza.

Tips for making the best Slow Cooker Crock Pot Pizza
Let your pizza dough sit out for about 20 minutes before making this recipe. This will make the dough easier to press into place when you shape the pizza crust.
More helpful tips for you.
- Feel free to add your favorite toppings such as pepperoni, sliced onions, or cooked sausage.
- When lining your slow cooker, make sure that the parchment paper goes up a bit on the sides of the slow cooker. This will make it easier to carefully raise the cooked pizza from the air fryer when you are ready to serve it.
- For pressing the crust into place, you can use a pizza roller to start from the center to evenly spread out the dough.
- The dough that is rolled out should be raised by the walls of the slow cooker to form a good crust.
- Melted butter is used to brush over the crust. Melting the butter with minced garlic can give your pizza crust a tasty flavor.
- Cooking times can vary depending on the size and make of your slow cooker. A seven quart cooker was used to make my pizza.
How to make Slow Cooker Crock Pot Pizza
Prep Time: 10 minutes.
Slow Cook Time: 2.5 hours.
Servings: 4.
- Start by lining the bottom of your slow cooker with parchment paper. You may need to press the parchment paper into the sides so that it conforms to the slow cooker walls. Make sure that the paper goes up the walls of the cooker about an inch and a half.
- Carefully roll out the pizza dough over the slow cooker and then lay it flat in the center of the cooker on top of the parchment paper. Use a roller or your hands to press the dough in place with a thicker crust on the edges of the dough.
- Next, use a pastry brush or similar item to brush the melted butter over the crust.
- For the sauce, use a spoon to drop dollops of the sauce in the center of the dough. Then use the backside of the spoon to spread the sauce up to the edges where the crust is thicker.
- Top your pizza with your desired toppings.
- Slow cook your pizza on high heat for two to two and a half hours (or on low for four to five hours) or until the crust turns golden brown.
- Carefully use the edges of the parchment paper to raise the pizza out of the slow cooker and transfer it to a flat surface for slicing into servings.
Expert Tip 👉 If the lid of your slow cooker seems to be taking on excess moisture while the pizza is cooking, try placing a clean paper towel between the lid and the top of the slow cooker to absorb some of the moisture.
