  • cups Corn Chips - additional as desired

Optional ingredients include toppings such as sliced jalapeno peppers and seasonings.

Instructions

  • Make your base layer by evenly spreading the chili in the bottom of the pan that you are using. You can prep the pan for nonstick first as desired.
  • On top of the chili, use half of the cheese to make the next layer, evenly placing it over the chili layer.
Air fry the ingredients at 400 for six minutes (the cheese should be starting to melt and the chili should be somewhat warm.
  • Next, carefully add the Frito (corn chips) layer over the melting cheese. You may need to remove the air fryer basket from the air fryer to do this.
Then place the basket into the air fryer and air fry at 400 for another five to six minutes or until the corn chips start to turn golden brown.
  • Carefully remove the basket from the air fryer and top the pie with the remaining cheese and any optional toppings before serving.
