Equipment

Ingredients

  • cups Rice --cooked and cooled.
  • 3 cups Turkey -cookedcooled, and shredded or diced small.
  • cups Broccoli. --Broken into small pieces.
  • cups Heavy Cream
  • cups Broth.
  • 10.5 oz Condensed Creamy Soup.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste.
  • 3 cups Cheese --shredded cheeses of your choice.
  • 2 cups Italian Bread Crumbs
  • 10 tablespoon Butter -- melted

Instructions

  • Prep. Preheat your oven to 350. Also, prep a 9X13" baking dish for nonstick.
  • Base. On the bottom of the baking dish evenly spread out the rice. Then layer the turkey (or chicken) on top of the rice and the broccoli on top of that.
  • Filling. In a large bowl, use a whisk to combine together the condensed soup, heavy cream, chicken broth, mustard, and seasonings.
  • Layer. Pour the combined ingredients from the mixing bowl over the layer of broccoli in the baking dish and then top that with your shredded cheese.
  • Topping. To make the topping, combine together the bread crumbs with your melted butter in a small bowl. When the mixture resembles wet sand, sprinkle it over the the ingredients in the baking dish.
  • Bake. Bake your casserole for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and the bread crumb topping turns golden brown.
  • Cool. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes to set before serving.
