Servings: 20 chips

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 24 Pickle Chips
  • 3 Egg
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour - or wheat flour
  • 2 cups Panko
  • ½ cup Seasonings - total

The seasonings used to make my chips were rub seasoning (2tbs), onion powder (2tbs), garlic powder (2tbs), paprika (2tbs), salt, and pepper.

Instructions

  • Start by preparing your pickle chips if you have not done so. This mean removing as much liquid or water as possible by patting the chips with a clean paper or kitchen towel.
  • Create a dredging station by laying out three shallow bowls.
In the first bowl, whisk your eggs.
The second bowl, use a clean whisk to combine together the flour and seasonings.
In the last bowl, place your panko crumbs.
  • Dip the first pickle in the egg bowl (tapping the excess egg off as needed), then the flour bowl (fully covered and excess shaked off), and lastly in the panko to coat with the crumbs.
  • Place the first pickle into your fryer basket and repeat until the basket is full with the pickles not touching one another.
  • Air fry at 375 for four minutes, flip the chips, and continue to air fry until crispy (about eight minutes total).
Let the chips cool for a few minutes before serving.
