Tips for making the best Spicy Thai Peanut Noodles
Using fresh vegetables is preferred in this recipe. When sauteing your vegetables, it is important to not overcook them as they add a crunchy elements and fresh flavor to this recipe.
More helpful tip for you.
- When you add your noodles to the pot, make sure that they are covered by the broth. You can use a wooden spoon to push them down if needed but, try not to stir them.
- For the sauce, using a fresh with few added ingredients in it is important for a smooth sauce. While you can use a crunchy or smooth peanut butter, you may want to stir it first.
- I would not use organic peanut butter as it can have a layer of oil on top which can affect your sauce.
- For an added kick, you can add a bit of sriracha or a chopped jalapeno.
- Stirring in additional vegetables, such as broccoli or peas, can make this dish even more filling and flavorful.
- For a protein addition, stir in sliced cooked chicken, shrimp,or tofu before serving.
- Not a fan of spicy? Swap out the chili sauce with ketchup.
