Tips for making the best leftovers egg rolls.

Let the leftovers sit out for 15-20 minutes to get to room temperature to help them get soft. Heating them may cause the ingredients to dry out as they will be air fried inside of the egg roll.

    More helpful tops for you.

    1. It is best to use leftovers that are only a day or two old as some leftovers do not last as long as others do.
    2. Feel free to use other leftovers, such as green beans, as long as they can fit without over-stuffing tour egg rolls.
    3. It is best to use leftovers that are not overly wet (such as turkey soaked in gravy) as doing so can make your egg roll soggy.
    4. Sealing the wrapper well is the secret to making this recipe successfully without making a mess with ingredients escaping.
    5. Leave room between the egg rolls in your air fryer basket so that the warm air can circulate. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to make this recipe in batches.
    6. These egg rolls are best when served warm and crispy.

How to make Air Fryer Thanksgiving Leftovers Egg Rolls.

    Prep time: 10 minutes.
Air Fry time: 13 minutes per batch.
    Yields: 6-8 egg rolls.

    1. Prepare. Prep your ingredients as indicated. Also, remove the wrappers from the packaging. You can use a large cutting board or similar item as a workspace to prepare the wraps. Prep your basket as desired (I like to take mine out of the air fryer and give it a quick spray).
    2. Combine. In a medium bowl, combine together your leftover food, lightly mixing them together.
    3. Wraps. Start by laying out the first egg roll wrapper so that it resembles a diamond. Use a pastry brush or similar item to brush some of your egg wash over the wrapper and then place about two tablespoons of the mixture from the last step in the center of the diamond.
    4. Fold. To fold up your wrapper, bring the bottom (or top) corner up to the center and then the two sides, rolling the wrapper into an egg rolls. Brush the egg wash as needed to help you seal the wrapper around the ingredients. Place the egg roll with the seam side down into your air fryer basket and repeat with the remaining egg rolls.
    5. Air Fry. You can give your egg rolls a quick spray with oil if desired. Air fry at 375 for 10 minutes and then carefully flip the egg rolls over and cook until golden brown and crisp, about three to three and a half minutes.
    6. Serve. You can serve your egg rolls with cranberry jelly, gravy, or the sauce or dip of your choice.

Expert Tip 👉 The insides of your egg rolls may be very warm when they come out of the air fryer. It is a good idea to allow them to sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes before serving.

How to store leftover Thanksgiving Leftovers Egg Rolls.

Once your egg rolls have fully cooled they can be stored in an airtight container. When properly stored and refrigerated, egg rolls can keep for up to a few days. You can reheat them using your air fryer.
