Tips for making the best Baked Apple Pie Dip
When selecting apple to use in a recipe such as this one, I like to use both tart and sweet apples so that they can balance each other out. Good choices include Granny Smith (tartness and firm), Fuji (sweeter), Honeycrisp, or Gala. Choose apples that can hold up to being baked with and avoid apples that become mushy or watery when baked (Red Delicious).
More helpful tips for you.
- Use a full fat cream cheese for optimal creamy texture. The cream cheese should be soft enough to blend with the other ingredients.
- You can use as much of the streusel topping as you want to use. It is okay to not use all of the topping if you do not want your dip to be too sweet.
- To make this recipe even easier to make, simply use apple pie filling and top that with the stresal instead.

Once the dip has fully cooled, it can be stored in an airtight container.
