- Bottom Layers. Evenly spread your waffle pieces on your casserole dish. Then place the cooked chicken pieces over the waffle pieces so that the bottom of the dish is fully covered.
- Eggs. In a medium bowl, use a whisk to combine together the eggs, milk, and seasonings. Then pour this mixture over the chicken and waffles.
- Cheese. Evenly spread your shredded cheese over the ingredients in your baking dish.
- Bake. Place your breakfast casserole into your oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top of your casserole turns golden brown and the center is set (not jiggling)
- Set. Let the casserole sit at room temperature to set before slicing it into servings.
