- Prepare. Preheat your oven to 375f and prep a casserole dish well for nonstick.
- Chicken. Evenly spread your diced chicken over the bottom of the casserole dish. Then top the chicken with your seasonings (smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper). Then top the ingredients with your diced jalapenos.
- Cheese. In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese and heavy cream and then evenly spread this mixture over the ingredients in the casserole dish. Top the creamy mixture with your shredded cheese.
- Bake. Bake the casserole for 40-45 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked through and the cheese has melted.
- Set. Allow the casserole to sit for a few minutes before serving to set.

Chicken breast was used to make my casserole. You can use the chicken cut of your choice or even pre-cooked and shredded chicken (baking times may differ).

- While my casserole was made with sharp cheddar cheese, you can use the cheese of your choice. A colby-jack blend could also work well in this recipe.
- Chicken is done cooking it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is no longer pink.
