What is a sheet pan dinner?
A sheet pan dinner is a meal that is baked entirely on a sheet pan in an oven.

Ingredients needed to make this kielbasa sheet pan meal.
- Polish Sausage ( kielbasa ). Any kind (including turkey kielbasa) as long as it has been pre-cooked. Your sausage should be cut into bite-sized pieces ( about an inch to an inch and a half wide).
- Olive Oil. Extra virgin was used to make my meal but, you can really use about any oil.
- Sweet Peppers. Red, orange, and yellow were added for color. Your peppers should have the stem and seed removed before being cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Broccoli. Broken into florets. If you use frozen you can let if thaw out on a small stack of paper towels or clean kitchen cloth to get rid of the excess water.
- Onion. A red onion was used in my dinner. Your onion should be chopped or diced small.
- Garlic. Minced or chopped (I like the chopped for something different to bite into).
- Seasonings: Such as garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper, or a seasoning blend.

Tips for making the best sheet pan kielbasa.
Make sure that you are using sausage/kielbasa that has been pre-cooked. If it has not been pre-cooked your ingredients will not bake uniformly, not at the same time and you will have a mess from the fat that bakes off of the sausage.
More helpful tips for you.
- For convenience sake, you can use a bag of mixed vegetables and use that. Go with the fresh rather than the frozen to make this recipe easier.
- Slice your ingredients about the same size (veggies and sausage) to help the bake evenly and make it easier to eat.
- While it is okay to swap out the vegetables for other vegetables, keep in mind that some vegetables, such as potatoes, take longer to bake.
- Do you have to use Polish/Sausage in this recipe? Hot dogs, breakfast sausage or even salami could work. Baking times can vary so keep an eye on your sheet pan while it bakes.
- Tossing or flipping your ingredients mid-way through baking will help them baked evenly.
- For extra flavor you can sprinkle shredded cheese on top after taking your dinner out of the oven.
