How to Make Buffalo Chicken Thighs

- Prep Time 10 minutes .
- Cook Time 20 minutes .

- Prepare. Use a clean paper towel to blot off the chicken. This will remove liquid etc. This will allow the chicken to properly sear and for the coating to stick.
- Cook. In a large skillet on medium-high heat, heat the olive oil for one minutes. Add the chicken thighs to the skillet and cook for five to seven minutes on each side, or until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Sauce. To make the sauce, in a medium bowl, use a whisk to combine together the buffalo sauce, honey, and seasonings. You can taste and make adjustments as needed.
- Finish. Pour half of the sauce over the chicken, carefully flip the chicken over, and repeat this process with the remaining sauce. Then bump the heat down to low and allow the ingredients to simmer for five to seven minutes in the sauce.

Chicken thighs were used to make my chicken. You could use chicken breasts instead for a less fatty version (cooking time may differ).

- Feel free to adjust the temperature of the sauce to your likings. For more heat, you can add a bit of hot sauce. To take the sauce down, you can mix it with regular sauce.
- The chicken is fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). You can use a meat thermometer to check this.

How to store chicken thighs.
