- In a medium mixing bowl, toss together your pepperoni (or alternative) and the cheese. Then stir in the sauce so that the ingredients are combined. You can add any seasonings as desired.
- Roll your dough out on clean, flat surface, that has been lightly dusted with flour. Your dough should be rolled out into a large rectangle about ¼" wide.
- For the next step we will place the filling to form mounds on one half of the rectangle as dollops or spoonfuls. Each of the dollops or spoonfuls should be about a half inch apart from one another.
- Use a pastry brush or your fingers to lightly distribute water around each of the mounds of filling.
- Carefully, fold the empty side of the rolled dough over the dough with the mounds of filling. Use your fingers to push out any air pockets if needed as your press the dough together around the mounds.
- Next, cut out the dough covered mounds to make the individual bites. You can use a pizza cutter/wheel to do this. Then use a fork to crimp the sides of each of the bites together to seal the bites.
