    • Olive Oil for sauteing
    • Onion Chopped into small pieces.
    • Broccoli. Cut or broken into florets.
    • Green Beans. Frozen.
    • Peas. Frozen as well.
    • Carrot Cut into small pieces.
    • Rice. Basmati rice was used to make my stir fry. Your rice should be cooked and cooled and any lumps should be broken up.
    • Soy Sauce. Low sodium can be used.
    • Sesame Oil. Olive oil can alternatively be used. This is for the rice.
    • Eggs. Use large eggs that are beaten.
    • Turkey. Use cooked turkey that has the skin removed and is cut into bite-sized cubes.

    How to make turkey fried rice.

    • Prep Time: 10 minutes .
    • Cook Time: 15 minutes .
    • Servings: 6 .
    • How to Serve: Serve as is in a bowl. You can serve the fried rice with chili flakes, sesame seeds, and/or green onions on top.
    • Notes: You will need a large skillet to make this recipe. .

    1. Heat In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat your oil for one minute. Then add the chopped onion and saute until translucent (about three to four minutes).
    2. Vegetables Add the broccoli florets, green beans, peas and carrots to the skillet and continue to saute until the vegetables have thawed (about three to four minutes).
    3. Rice. Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet leaving an empty space. Add rice to the empty space then stir the soy sauce and sesame oil into the rice until the rice is coated .
    4. Eggs. Push all of the ingredients to the sides of the skillet making an empty space. Crack the eggs into the empty space and scramble the eggs until set.
    5. Turkey Stir in the turkey and continue to stir fry the ingredients until cooked through.
    6. Serve Serve your fried rice as is or with sesame seeds, green onions, chili flakes and additional sauce as desired.

    The best rice to use in this recipe is rice that is a day old rice that is dried out. This is because freshly cooked rice is too moist and will steam and get mushy in the pan as a result.
