What you need to make oven roasted turkey tenderloin.
- Turkey Tenderloin. This is a special cut of turkey that can be found in the meat or poultry section of grocery stores. It will say "turkey tenderloin" on the package and should be about 24 ounces. My tenderloin was cut in half to fit in the baking pan.
- Olive Oil. Olive oil adds moisture and helps the seasonings stick to the turkey.
- Seasonings: Oregano, Onion Powder, Paprika, Garlic Powder, and salt and pepper.

Prep Time:5 minutes .
Roast Time: 40 minutes .

- Prepare. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. You can spray it with nonstick if desired. Also, preheat your oven to 400f.
- Oil. Place your tenderloin in the center of your baking sheet. Use a pastry brush or similar item to coat the tenderloin with the olive oil.
- Seasonings. In small bowl, use a whisk or fork to combine together the seasonings. Then evenly spread the seasonings over the turkey tenderloin.
- Roast. Place the turkey tenderloin into your oven and roast the turkey tenderloin until browned on the outside and the inside has an internal temperature of 165f degrees.
- Rest. Allow the turkey to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to distribute throughout the turkey resulting in a more moist and juicy meal.

Tips for making the best roasted turkey tenderloin.
Instead of rinsing your turkey tenderloin, use a clean paper towel to pat the tenderloin dry. This should remove any excess moisture before you coat the turkey with oil, making it easier for the oil and seasonings to stick to the turkey.

- For optimal flavor, you can 'rub' the seasonings into the turkey.
- This recipe can be prepared the night before. Simply prepare the turkey as indicated and then cover and refrigerate it.
- Because there is not a lot of fat in this cut of turkey, you should roast it until it is done (reached the internal temperature of 165f). Over cooking the turkey can make it dry and not as enjoyable.
